The Opening Verses.
From the Paraphrases of the Al Qur´an Surah I
1. In the name of Allah full of Grace and Compassion.
(now read the Injil, Ephesians 2:8—9)
Question: What does the Injeel say about Grace here in this passage, what about works, or doing religious things?
2. Praise ALLAH Lord of all Creation
3. Full of Grace and Compassion (see verse one and the note there).
4. Master of Judgement Day.
5. You alone do we seek and rely on.
6. Lead us on the straight way. (read Injeel John 14:6)
Question: Who, does the Messianic Messanger say, is the straight way? Is it just a noble way of life or did Allah have a more personal expression of the way? Please explain.
7. Not the way of those who go the wrong way or deserve your anger. (read Injil Romans 3:22—23)
Question: According to the Holy Book, Romans 3:22—23, who deserves Allah´s wrath and what has Allah done in His grace to overcome this.
Question: How did Allah in His grace make a way for us to avoid His anger? Please explain. (read the first Chapter of the Al Qur´an, and cross reference it with the verses from the Injil.
