Al-Minbar, the Pulpit. In the name of Allah, full of mecy and compassion. Khutbeh, (Friday Sermon) In the fifth surah, or chapter, of The Koran Kareem, their is a passage referring to Allah´s mercy in sending down a great feast to Isa Al–Masih, as a symbol of Allah´s great compassion.
Perhaps the Qur´an was referring to a parable, (a story with that reveals a divine truth), that Hazrut Isa told once of a great wedding feast a King held for his Son. The great King had prepared a great celebration and sent out His invatations throughout the land. Each guest refused this gracious offer making up various excuses. One claimed he had just bought land and needed to see it, another had just bought oxen and needed to work his field, and another had just recently married and wanted to spend time at home. The King then sent messangers to the people announcing the feast, some were beaten, others worse. No one wanted to heed this mighty King´s invatation to the great wedding feast He was holding for the people. So finally the King ordered His servants to go out into the streets and highways, and invite all who would listen to the feast. The lame, sick, blind, the poor, any and everyone who would come and heed the King´s call was invited to the grand celebration. The Quranic reference can be found in, Surah 5.114, the firman Allah link below can supply you with a link to the Koranic Passage. And the Parable as told in the Injeel can be found in, Mathew 22:1—14 below is a link "Bible Gateway", where you can click on and type in the "Mathew 22:1—14" to see this verse in arabic, english or a variety of other languages. Allah now is calling anyone and everyone, to come and feast on his wonderfull mercy that He has provided through Essa Al–Masih. We were once sick, and , poor, compared to a mighty and Holy Lord. Yet Allah had sent us His very word in flesh, Isa Al-masih, the Kalimatullah, (word of God), who has paid the price for our admission into Allah´s mercy feast. We need only trust in Allah´s mercy and come to him, sick and, poor as we are. Isa Al–Masih, the Kalimatullah, is inviting you now to this great celebration. If you only trust in what the Holy Books say, that Isa Al–Masih was excuted and buried for our disobedience to Allah, and rose again on the third day according to the law of Nabi Musa and the Zabur. Then you, too, can attend this great and wonderful celebration that Allah has prepared.
